The World Beard and Moustache Championships
Recognizing and honoring the best facial hair on Earth
The World Beard and Moustache Championships is the authoritative and definitive event to determine the best representative facial hair styles in the world. It is held biennially in every odd-numbered year and overseen by the World Beard and Moustache Association. Each WBMC is open to any competitor, with no pre-qualifying at any previous competition.
A charity focused on men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and creating safe spaces for men to talk.
The 2021 World Beard and Moustache Championships was planned to have been hosted by The Fellowship of the Beard NZ, and was scheduled for April 10th at the Hunua Rooms of the Aotea Centre in Auckland, New Zealand.
It was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and rescheduled for 2023 in Burghausen, Germany.
