America was shut out in this category in Norway, after having won six out of the seven top-three spots at the previous two WBMC’s.

Germans have resurged here, with the two top spots going to Belle Moustache and the Pforzheimer Beard Friends. In Alaska, California’s Paul Beisser won gold, but Beisser couldn’t make it to Norway. BTUSA went one-two-three in this category in 2007, with Marty Gehringer leading the pack, Pablo Hagin taking second, honorary BTUSA member Italian Alessandro taking third. Guy Thompson won too, they just didn’t give him a trophy.
