European Beard and Moustache Championships — Oct 2, 2010

Germany’s famous East Bavarian Beard Club plays host to the European Beard and Moustache Championships high in the Austrian Alps on October 2, 2010.

The small town of Leogang, home of perennial full-beard-freestyle favorite Hans Gassner, will be the site of the event, where there is sure to be plenty of Bier, Gemütlichkeit, und Blasmusik.

Willi Preuss, President of the Association of German Beard Clubs, will preside over the event. Beard Team USA will represent the United States with a contingent of four beardsmen.

Leogang is located between Salzburg and Innsbruck, in the municipality of Saalfelden.

    I want to hold it also in Japan. It works hard and it has a mustache while enjoying it. Congratulations on the victory.
